MANCHESTER -- Former Manchester resident and BBA graduate Rosemarie Simeone doesn't usually have a chance to be caught on camera with her three children, but thanks to her involvement with Massachusetts-based Eastern Bank's latest television ad she was given that opportunity.

"I'm used to being on the other side of things," said Simeone. "I'm used to being the one behind the scenes... behind the camera."

Simeone was born and raised in Manchester, and attended BBA before heading to the University of Vermont. From there, where she met her husband, she traveled to Boston, and eventually Beverly, Mass. She worked as a freelancer for Conover Tuttle Pace, a Boston-based ad agency, all the way until her third child was born.

The television ad, which highlights Eastern Bank's mobile banking, illustrates that they are a bank that can help even the busiest of people.

"They were looking for a busy mom," she said. "Unfortunately my husband was away on business the day we were shooting, and instead of a stand-in husband my parents drove down... they needed the kind of busy mom who would likely have support from her parents." Simeone's parents, Dan and Jo Mulroy, still live in Manchester and offered to drive down to Beverly for the filming.

"It was fun for my whole family," Simeone said.

The 30-second ad features Simeone, her parents, and her three children at a baseball game, eating out at a cozy fried-seafood restaurant, playing at the beach, and driving around, all while illustrating what Simeone, busy mom, can do with Eastern Bank's app.

Despite her move down to eastern Massachusetts, Simeone still frequents the Green Mountain State.

"We spent a lot of the summer up here with my parents," Simeone said. "I love Beverly... but I was trying to convince my husband that maybe we should move back."

The ad began running on August 18, and will continue to air through October during Red Sox games on New England Sports Network.
