A full schedule of activities is set to take place from 6 - 10 p.m. on Main Street that day. Organizers are reconfirming music groups, performers and seeking some new food and craft vendors for the free family event on Labor Day Weekend.
The StreetFest, the second in a series this summer on Main Street in downtown Manchester, will welcome four bands, in four hours on two stages. There will be performers, face painting and street fare to satisfy any appetite. The Perfect Wife Restaurant will be serving beer and wine; Unplugged, a non-profit group, will be offering lemonade.
Updates to the schedule will be posted to the town's Facebook page. Should inclement weather again visit us, cancellation notices will be posted there and on other sites such as the Facebook page of the Manchester Journal. To accommodate all attendees, no dogs will be allowed within the cordoned off Main Street area.
Special thanks to community businesses who have lent their support to the event. For more information, telephone 362-5333 or email email@example.com. Unclaimed vendor spots will be allocated starting Friday, Aug. 16.
