EAST DORSET - Kayaks, canoes, a motor scooter and a wide selection of household items will be part of the Bennington Area Habitat for Humanity Auction and Tag Sale on Saturday, July 13. Preview and tag sale at A Safe Place Self-Storage in East Dorset begin at 9 a.m. with the auction gavel falling at 10 a.m. Clarke Comollo is the auctioneer, with food provided by the Gourmet Deli.

They include Adirondack chairs and picnic tables made by Burr and Burton students, Mosser glass clowns, rugs, pictures, digital camera, lens, couches, corner cupboard, Orvis bamboo fishing rod and reel, 360 sq ft of 18" tile, rugs, antiques, toys and much more.

All funds raised at this event will be directed to our 14th Habitat house which is in the first stage of construction on Jennifer Lane in Manchester in partnership with Shannon and Lori Gordon and their four children. A Brush with Kindness program is operating in the Southshire, volunteers doing minor interior and exterior repairs to make a home safer, healthier and more energy efficient. Habitat for Humanity puts faith into action, seeks to bring people together to build homes locally and throughout the world. Money raised locally stays local. BAHfH gets no financial support from Habitat International.
