RUPERT - Merck Forest is offering Farm Chores: Summer Series from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays until July 25 - excluding July 4 - as part of the Farmland Center's working landscape.

Visitors are welcome to come to Merck Forest and Farmland Center for the extended farm chores program. Attendees will help water and feed the animals, collect and wash eggs, tour this year's new grazing garden and pick raspberries or blueberries.

Visitors will learn about the farm as part of the program and have an interactive and educational experience helping with the duties that allow the farm to operate. As a bonus, those who attend will be allowed to take home the berries and eggs they collect at a discounted price. Farm Chores: Summer Series costs $2 per person.
