DORSET - The Dorset Theatre Festival has announced that it will be holding its 2013 Summer Season Equity Auditions on March 2 and 3 at The Dorset Playhouse on 104 Cheney Road. The auditions will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on both days, with a lunch break between 1-2 p.m.

Plays being cast this year include: "The Scene" by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Adrienne Campbell Holt; "The Whipping Man," by Mathew Lopez-directed by Dina Janis; "Barefoot in the Park" by Neil Simon, directed by Jenn Thompson; and "Clybourne Park" by Bruce Norris, directed by Giovanna Sardelli.

For an appointment, call (802)-867-2223 between Feb. 18-28. Those interested should provide name, contact number, preferred audition time and specify Equity status. Equity members without appointments will be seen throughout each audition day, as time permits. Non-Equity actors will be seen on stand-by as time permits. All actors should prepare a brief dramatic monologue, not longer than two minutes, and bring a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back.
