Learn to Draw I
11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 10, 17, 24 & 31, at Equinox Village
This class will teach the all-important skill of observation - really seeing the objects being drawn - along with developing the ability to transfer what you see to paper. Instructor Tony Conner will begin by teaching participants to see and draw basic shapes (circles, squares, rectangles and triangles) and to turn these into more complex shapes and objects. Included in the class will also be the basics of size, proportion and perspective. Classes are free for Equinox Village residents and $50 for members of the public. Chair Yoga with Ali

Certified Yoga instructor Ali Wassick hopes to teach her students to breathe, relax, and be present. She completed her training at Yoga Vermont in Burlington in 2006. Her teaching style is inspired by Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, and Restorative Yoga. Exercises in this class are done from a seated position. Free for Equinox Village residents. A Grand Winter Celebration
1 -3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Equinox Village
Good times with family shouldn't end on Jan. 2. That's why Equinox Village is holding a Grand Winter Celebration, an event for grandparents and grandchildren (and great grandparents and great grandchildren, too).
