DORSET - The Dorset Players will welcome the Hubbard Hall Opera Theater to the Playhouse stage on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. for a special presentation of "La Boheme" by Puccini. This reduced version of the program, featuring 75 minutes of some of the most gorgeous music in the opera canon, will be semi-staged and sung in Italian, directed by Jason Dolmetsch with piano accompaniment by Michael Clement.

With its melodic score and poignant story of young love and true friendships, "La Boheme" is set in the students' quartet of Paris circa 1830. Hubbard Hall Opera Theater is based at Hubbard Hall, an historic opera house in Cambridge, N.Y.

Tickets will be $25 for adults ($21 for members) and $10 for those 18 and under. Tickets will be available by calling the Players' box office at 802-867-5777 starting Monday, Oct. 22.
