DORSET - The Dorset Historical Society's Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Bley House Museum. There will be a review of the events this past year as well as a acknowledgement of some of the significant donations to the collection.

New business will include the election of six directors to the Board. The slate of nominees include John Cave, Malcolm Cooper, Judy Harwood, Barbara Melhado, Art Gilbert and Al Eckhardt. Nominations may also be made from the floor. Thanks are extended to the following who will be leaving due to term limits, expiration or resignations: Art Gilbert, Jean Kingston, Kay Manly, Ruth Stewart, Kathie Wall Evans, and Sue Washburn.
