LONDONDERRY - The South Londonderry Fire Department responded to what is considered to be a suspicious fire last Saturday, Oct. 13.

At 5:32 a.m. on Saturday, the fire department responded to the residence of Paul Feinberg, 68, on Under the Mountain Road in South Londonderry. Upon their arrival, they found the barn completely destroyed by fire. The building was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

Fire Investigators from the Vermont State Police, as well as from the Vermont Division of Fire Safety, were requested shortly thereafter for an origin and cause determination. The investigation revealed the cause of the fire to be undetermined, but considered suspicious. Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact Det. Sgt. Sutton at (802) 773-9101.
