MANCHESTER - On Friday, Sept. 28, at 12 p.m., Equinox Village will be the setting for a lecture on "Shipwrecks of Lake Champlain."

This Vermont Humanities Council program is hosted by the Mark Skinner Library. Learn about Lake Champlain's most harrowing shipwreck stories from the Revolutionary War to the present day with Lake Champlain Maritime Museum Archaeologist Adam Kane. With over 300 wrecks in its dark, cold waters, Lake Champlain has witnessed feats of heroism and terrible tragedies.

Take a tour through slides, drawings, and video of what lies beneath the waves. For more information, contact Cindy Waters at (802) 362-2607.
