SALEM, N.Y. - Join Catherine Hamilton of Putnam Market in Saratoga for a Sept. 22 cooking demonstration at Gardenworks. She will be making recipes using produce harvested in the fall, such as apples, squashes and fall raspberries. The workshop begins at 11 a.m. and is free. Learn how to make sweet and savory dishes for your fall table.

Hamilton teaches cooking workshops at her specialty shop in Saratoga and enjoys incorporating local produce and products into her dishes.

Gardenworks' fall workshop series also begins on Sept. 22 with a Fall Swag Workshop. Create a fan-shaped bouquet of your favorite dried flowers to decorate a door or wall in your home. Select almost real or dried flowers of your choice in seasonal colors. No experience needed and all materials are included. Gardenworks has thousands of flowers to select from and offers many color choices. The workshop runs from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is required and the cost is $20.
