Over two dozen events are planned on the Green and around the town highlighting the wide variety of arts, crafts, and small businesses that contribute to the spirit of Dorset.
Holman Studios and Dorset Custom Furniture will be open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, as will Flower Brook Pottery where visitors are invited to paint their own bowls.
The Dorset Fire House will be open Sunday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. for tours.Vermont's foremost gardening guru, horticulturalist Charlie Nardozzi, will be at Mettowee Mill Nursery on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.; the Dorset Inn will be serving local local artisanal cheeses from 3-5 p.m.; actors from the Dorset Theatre Festival will be performing play readings and artwork by Dorset artists will be on display.
Those who are interested in geocaching, an international sensation that involves a treasure hunt for hidden items and clues that use GPS coordinates, should meet on the Dorset Green at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
