Manchester's Public Library want to remind the public that the "The Smartest Card is at your library," and it's the library card.
"Your library card is your ticket to opportunity," said Betsy Bleakie, Executive Director. "What other card in your wallet gives you free access to books and computers, digital downloads, movies and magazines, museum and park passes, homework help, online adult education and language courses and all sorts of other resources that can change your life - or just make it a little more fun?"
Any library member with "the smartest card," may show it at Mother Myricks Confectionary, The Northshire Bookstore, and The Perfect Wife Restaurant and Tavern during the month and receive a 15 percent discount. Some restrictions do apply.
Mark Skinner Library membership is free for Manchester residents. Non-resident fees apply.
Visit MSL today to get a library card. The doors are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-6; Wednesdays, 10-8; and Fridays and Saturdays, 10-4. The library is located at the intersection of Route 7A and West Road in Manchester Village.
