MANCHESTER - It's time to register for this year's Maple Leaf Half Marathon & 5k, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. in Manchester. Registration is being capped at 1,000 participants, and if that goal is reached before race day, the race-day registration will be cancelled. To register for the race, Google the race online, or call the Manchester & the Mountains Chamber of Commerce at 362-6313 for details.

The Maple Leaf this year is honoring the late Manchester Chamber executive director Jay Hathaway, and is being presented by the Perfect Wife Restaurant, the Spiral Press Cafe, MVP Health Care, Orvis, as well as 40 additional local business partners. All net proceeds from the race will go to local nonprofit organizations and deserving individuals.
