Led by Manchester artist, designer and educator, Stacy Gates, "Art of Hildene" is being offered July 30 through Aug. 3 for children ages seven and eight and from Aug. 6 through Aug. 10 for children ages nine and 10.
Art Educator, Lavinia Lowerre will lead the "Young at Art" camp for children ages five and six being offered from June 25 through June 29.
Young campers will explore their creativity through art projects inspired by Hildene's landscape in. The week ends with a show featuring the work of the young artists.
The "Watershed Wonders" camp for children entering fourth, fifth or sixth grade has just a few spots open. A scientific adventure like no other awaits the curious watershed explorer in this camper-directed week of aquatic discovery from Aug. 13 through Aug. 17.
In their quest to determine how healthy local waters are, campers perform tests, observe the local wetlands environment and collect data, sharing their results with parents at week's end.
Hildene camps are limited to 12 campers and are a week long. Except for "Young at Art," which runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., all camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
