The BBA girls team was tied with Woodstock at 18 after the giant slalom event, but took command of the race during the slalom portion, securing the 36 to 43 win for both events.
An impressive performance by Olivia Burwell - who took first place in the slalom event with a oombined time of 1:23.03 - helped BBA earn the win.

In addition to Burwell securing the top spot, BBA also had three other racers place in the top 10 during the slalom event. Sanderson Kemp took third with a combined time of 1:24.42. Katie Bourque was not far behind, finishing in fifth place with a combined time of 1:25.58 and Haley McGrath finished ninth with a combined time of 1:28.99. BBA teammates Devon Thiele and Casey Apps finished 11th and 12th in the event.
BBA got off to a good start on their first run in the giant slalom event with Bourque placing second on her first run with a time of 28.27. Kemp, Burwell, and Haley McGrath placed sixth, seventh and 10th on their first run, respectively, to give BBA four top 10 finishers.
Woodstock dominated the second time down the hill with Werle, Noble, Sam Herrington - who placed 11th in her first run - and Clancy all placing higher than in the first run and reaching the top 10. BBA, meanwhile, remained steady in their second run with Bourque leading the way with a time of 28.59
The Burr and Burton boys dominated the field on Monday coming away with a 32 to 67 victory over second place finisher Woodstock for both events.
Although Rutland High School's Tyler Guth took top honors in the giant slalom event with a combined time of 53.06, BBA took six of the other top 10 spots. BBA's Tanner McGrath took second place with a combined time of 53.29 and Ben Alexopoulos was .41 seconds behind him for third place in the event.
Teammates Andrew Sherras, Tom Morgantini and Tim Swinarton were packed in together - finishing sixhth, seventh and eighth with combined times of 54.15, 54.64, and 55.51 respectively. Richard Sherras finished in 10th place with a combined time of 56.06.
"Both the girls and the boys this is where they need to ski their best and to ski close on and they did a heck of a job today [of] holding it together not only in the GS, but the slalom, which is anybody's game sometime," said McNealus. "It put a lot of pressure on the boys [in] the second run when there were only four potential scorers and they all had to the same thing for the second run. They kept it together and that was great." Although not quite as dominant in the slalom event, BBA attacked the slopes coming out of the gate and it paid off as McGrath, Alexopoulos, and Andrew Sherras swept the podium. Swinarton finished eighth in the event with a combined time of 1:20.74.
The Rutland High School girls team finished third in districts with a team score of 96. The Rutland boys team also finished in third place with a team score of 68 - one point behind Woodstock.
