MANCHESTER - The Green and Gold Equinox Bulldogs defended their Super Bowl title Sunday afternoon, defeating the Brunswick Bulldogs 20-0 to cap their perfect 9-0 season.
The young Bulldog defense comprised of five fifth graders played flawless for four quarters shutting out Brunswick's powerful running attack. Johnson and Morganitini were responsible for the three touchdown runs due to outstanding blocking from the offensive line that allowed them to break outside for the scores.
Both Bulldog teams came to the field with an 8-0 record and Division Champion titles.
Over the past two seasons, the Senior Bulldogs have compiled a record of 18-0, with two Northern Division titles and two Super Bowl wins.
