MANCHESTER - Work on the button roundabout at the junction of Bonnet Street/Rt. 30 and Main Street 7A gets underwayWednesday, Sept. 19. A truck detour will be effect 24 hours a day seven days a week through Sept. Cars will be able to navigate through the confined area.

The construction involves road excavation, setting curbs and pouring concrete. This is the second, and the smaller, of the two roundabouts planned in the project. With the installation of the button roundabout, vehicles will be able to travel through the area with greater ease. Of particular note, cars traveling on Rt. 30 from Dorset turning north onto Main Street will enter the traffic flow without the delays experienced today.

The truck detour will be routed over North Road if traveling on Rt. 30 and up Center Hill and Cemetery Ave. if traveling north on Rt. 7A from 11/30. Trucks from the south should use Rt. 313 in Arlington to Rt. 7.
