Gillian Ann Guinn and James Truslow Sparkman were married Saturday, Aug. 25. The Reverend Meg Watson performed the ceremony at Wananalua Congregational Church in Hana, Maui.

The bride, an attorney with Baker & McKenzie LLP in San Francisco, Calif., received her BA and LLB from the University of British Columbia. She is the daughter of Jennifer Gorham and Wayne Guinn of Vancouver, British Columbia. The groom, founder of Alpha Education LLC, received his BA from Middlebury College and MBA from Harvard University. He is the son of Susan Painter of Rowayton, Conn. and Nantucket, Mass. and James Sparkman of Manchester.

The couple resides in Sausalito, Calif.
