ARLINGTON - An Arlington home was burglarized and the thief is still at large, according to press release from the Vermont State Police.
The Vermont State Police received a report around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday that the burglary had taken place on River Road in Arlington sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. last Thursday while the homeowners were away at work. according to the Vermont State Police.
The homeowners reported a coin collection missing as well as a safe and several other items. It is believed the perpetrator(s) entered an unlocked door and gained entry into the residence. Residents are reminded to keep their doors locked and to be vigilant for suspicious people and vehicles.
