At the meeting, residents and officials will discuss how residents can protect themselves and their personal property and how the crime watch, which will begin immediately, will help to fight home invasions and crime in the neighborhood.
The meeting is for all residents who live on Dorset West Road and all roads that connect to it, including Lane Road, Cross Road, Nichols Hill Road, Rogers Road, Church Street and all smaller lanes that feed into those roads.
Lt. Reg Trayah, commander of the Vermont State Police barracks in Shaftsbury, and Gaiotti will be at the meeting to discuss what is
currently being done to curb crime and home invasions and resources for residents to use in their home. Questions will also be taken.
All residents in the Dorset West Road community are encouraged to attend the meeting. Those who cannot attend but would like
information can notify the Dorset town office so information can be sent to them.
