MILTON -- Milton's unrelenting ground attack led the way against Burr and Burton Academy on Friday night, grinding out enough points for a back-and-forth 42-36 win in Division II football.
BBA (1-1) quarterback Jake Stalcup tossed four touchdown passes and Chris Redding scored twice, including a lengthy kick return, but it wasn't enough.
Jake Turner's four-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter proved to be the winning score for the Yellow Jackets as Stalcup's final scoring strike came with 34 seconds left and the onside kick was unsuccessful.
Milton, in charge throughout, led 22-15 at halftime and 36-29 at the end of the third quarter.
