EAST DORSET - On July 27th, at approximately 9:30 a.m. the Vermont State Police were notified of a larceny that occurred at the Dorset horse show. An employee of Beval Saddlery Company told police a large amount of merchandise was taken from their temporary store set up for the horse show. It was reported that over 50 Beval shirts were stolen after 5 p.m. on July 24.

The employee said she realized the shirts were missing at 8:15 a.m. on July 25. The value of the merchandise taken was approximately $5,000.
