DORSET -- The Vermont State Police responded to the Dorset Elementary School for a report of a vandalism on Thursday, July 19, shortly before 7 a.m.

According to the police, a school employee observed that one of the front doors was severely cracked and it appeared someone may have been trying to enter the school. At the scene police observed one of the front doors had several cracks in the glass. Police are attempting to determine what caused the cracks. Significant temperature change could be a contributing factor. The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
