DORSET - The Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury conducted a marijuana eradication mission on Friday. Seven Troopers took part in the day long mission and recovered a total of 160 marijuana plants along with gardening tools, plant food and fertilizer. These plants were being grown and tended to illegally from areas within the towns of Dorset, Shaftsbury and Pownal. An investigation is continuing into the cultivators of the marijuana, according to the police.
