PERU — A celebration of solsice to welcome in the first official day of summer will be held on Sunday, June 21. The festivities will begin at the Peru Church at 5 p.m. where Rev. Claire North and Pastor Margaret will celebrate this season of light and growth with song, storytelling, and a guided meditation.

The evening will then continue at 6 p.m. with a potluck supper and bonfire at the Schow home at 415 Hapgood Pond Road. Guests are asked to bring a tiki torch (if possible) a dish to share, and a beverage of their choice. For more information or directions, call Pastor Margaret at 379-1438.
