DORSET >> Dorset Village Properties (DVP) owner and principal broker Deke August has announced that Greg Cutler has joined the real estate agency as a Licensed Sales Agent and member of Realtors .
"Greg brings a wealth of experience and community involvement to Dorset's oldest real estate office." August said. Greg, wife Tina and son Carson moved to Manchester Village in 2009. Tina is co-owner of Take Five Childcare in Manchester.
"With his background in music, voice acting, social media, web site development, IT and marketing, Greg has brought DVP into the 21st century since joining the firm in 2013 as Manager of Rentals." August added.
Greg currently serves on the boards of Manchester Development Review (DRB), Manchester Youth Baseball and Dorset Chamber of Commerce.
Founded in the 1950s by Edith Dulles Snare, Dorset Village Properties was acquired by Augusts' parents in the 1960s. In 1976 the firm passed to George Wallace, founder of the Dorset Hollow Corporation (DHC), thus preventing the Hollow from becoming a major ski area. The ecological land use model developed by DHC was extensively referred to in Vermont's Act 250 land use reforms as well as land planning for the state of Hawaii. Deke August joined the firm in 1990, acquiring it in 2001.
