DORSET - Laura Beckwith, Principal of Josiah Allen Real Estate in Dorset, has announced that Sara Buckley has recently joined the team at Josiah Allen. Buckley brings a decade of Vermont real estate experience to her new position and she is, Beckwith says, "exactly the sort of outstanding colleague we want on our team, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly."

Buckley most recently worked at Vermont Country Properties in Manchester where she held the number one market share for listed/sold properties. Buckley moved to Vermont with her family 10 years ago in order to, as she says, "take full advantage of the lifestyle, great schools, and endless outdoor activities that Vermont has to offer."

She has four children. David, 28, works on the New York Mercantile Exchange; Grace, 27, is a professional dancer and is on the faculty of the New York City Dance Alliance; Peter, 24, with a BS in environmental studies from UVM, works as a guide in Alaska; and Henry, 17, will be a senior at Burr and Burton this fall .
