DORSET - Vermont State Police responded to Berkshire Bank, located at 23 Church Street in the Town of Dorset, for a reported single vehicle that crashed into the bank building.

State Police arrived and observed slight damage to the vehicle. Slight damage to the building consisted of a few pieces of broken and dented wood siding. The operator told State Police that she confused the accelerator with the brake, drove her vehicle at a speed of about 5 miles per hour over the asphalt barrier-bump, and struck the building. Damage observed was consistent with the explanation provided by the operator.
