"Here We Are," by Dorothy Parker, explores a newly married couple's anxieties as they anticipate the consummation of their marriage later that night. "Ferris Wheel," by Mary Miller, is a funny and poignant story that proves love can be found in the strangest places, including 50 feet above a county fair. "Life With Actors," by Robert Sugarman, brings us to a theatrical boarding house in the 1950s as a group of actors try to help their boozy old cast mate shape up and learn his lines. "Waiting On Trains," by D.M. Larson, takes us inside a train station where a sleeping bum awakens to what she believes to be God speaking to her.
