More than 100 original works of art from 44 regional artists will be on display and available for purchase. The windowpane theme was chosen to encourage a wide variety of artistic interpretation and points of view. There are watercolors, pastels, sculpture, and a light box. One painting on glass is meant to hang in a window and catch the outdoor light filtering though it.
Many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served and music will be provided by the Arts Center's resident violinist Barbara Lundy and classical guitarist Brett Grigsby.
The exhibit runs through March 17. The Southern Vermont Arts is located on West Road, and its Yester House Galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 802-367-1306 or visit www.svac.org.
