MANCHESTER - Calling all six to 11 year olds. The Southern Vermont Arts Center will be holding its Vacation Art Camp, Feb. 18 -22 from 9 to 1p.m. The week-long camp will include an art appreciation lesson, project, snack and fun time - either a movie or outdoor play - depending on the weather. Each day will spotlight a different artist and students will learn a bit about the artist's life and work and complete a project in that genre.

Monday: Colorful circus mobiles with Alexander Calder. Tuesday: The art of cake and ice cream win acrylics with Wayne Thiebaud. Wednesday: Collage techniques with Romare Bearden. Thursday: 3-D mixed media rooms with Henri Matisse. Friday: Into the jungle in pastels and acrylics with Henri Rousseau.
