Students from Burr and Burton Academy's vocal music ensemble will be performing at the Lincoln Center in New York April 3.

MANCHESTER >> Fourteen members of the Burr and Burton Academy Vocal Music Ensemble will perform Christopher Tin's "Calling All Dawns," at Lincoln Center on April 3, presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York(DCINY) and conducted by their Artistic Director Jonathan Griffith.

This two-time Grammy winning album is a classical crossover featuring 12 songs, each in a different language and organized into three movements; day, night and dawn, corresponding to life, death and rebirth.

BBA singers will be joined by choirs from around the world, a professional orchestra, guest soloists and the composer for a 5 day residency in New York City Thursday, March 31-Monday April 4 to prepare for this monumental performance.

Congratulations to Ali Burdick, Angela Caggiano, Anna Freebern, Meiling Guo, Florrie Hynds, Amelia Kennedy, Jackie Nutter, Adam Quinn, Mikayla Schaffer, Lily Spencer, Gabby Vella, Cindy Wang, Emma Weinstein, Nate Williams and their Choral Director Julie Freebern for receiving a personalized invitation from Christopher Tin marking a fourth collaboration with the composer since 2012.
